Use cases

One demo.
Six places it can go.

The output is a first draft, not a finished article. Edit it and publish it however you want.

Help center articles
Paste Markdown straight into Zendesk, Intercom, or Help Scout and publish it as a support article.
→ Markdown
Product documentation
Add it to GitBook, Mintlify, or Confluence as a feature walkthrough. Your demo and your docs stay in sync.
→ Markdown / HTML
Sales leave-behind
Send the PDF after a call. Prospects can read it again, share it with their team, and remember what you showed them.
→ PDF
Customer onboarding
Attach the PDF to your welcome email. New users get step-by-step instructions before they've even logged in.
→ PDF / Plain Text
SEO tutorial pages
Publish the HTML as a how-to page. If someone searches "how to create a report in [your product]," that page can show up.
→ HTML
Support replies
When a customer asks how something works and your demo covers it, copy the plain text into the ticket. Done.
→ Plain Text

FAQ

Common questions

Four formats: Markdown for docs sites and CMS editing, HTML for a complete web page you can publish directly, Plain Text for anything that needs readable copy without markup, and PDF for sharing as a file. Each generates independently from the same demo.
Docusmith requires a Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan. It's not included in the free trial or the Starter plan.
Yes. Generate Markdown first, come back later for PDF. One format runs at a time. Start the next once the first finishes.
Most finish in 1–2 minutes. Longer walkthroughs take a bit more. You don't need to keep the modal open. Close it and come back. The document will be there when you reopen Docusmith.
Yes. Copy the Markdown into Notion or Confluence and edit it there. The HTML is just a file. Open it in any editor. Nothing is locked.
Each version generates its own document. If you have a v1 and a v2 (different prompts, languages, or updated flows), select the one you want before clicking Generate.
